Due to the laser’s precision is possible to create rings, necklaces and bracelets using different materials (wood, acrylic, leather…). Lasercutted and engraved bijoux are surely interesting for designers attracted to the fashion accessories world. For this tutorial we’ve decided to use the acrylic material, particularly suitable to create jewels because of its shininess and colors variety.

What do we need?
3mm acrylics, eyelets for the necklace and hooks for the earrings

How do we do it?
You can choose the graphic you want for the jewels or use our template available here.

What laser is suitable?
We’ve used Speedy300 (60w), the laser plotter with the 726 x 423 mm work area, and the following settings:
Engraving: power 20%, speed 50%, 500 ppi, Air Assist on
Cutting: power 100%, speed 0,5%, frequency 1000 Hz, Air Assist on

Use a 2.0 inch lens for perfect flame-polished edges.

The last step is to fix every part of the necklace with loops and the appropriate hooks for the earrings. Are you ready to show the world your new bijoux?
