Tomorrow, March 29th, it's the Arduino Day: ten years ago was born what it has then become the most important and widespread open hardware platform, this date is going to be celebrated with a collection of worldwide events that will involve many Arduino communities spread all over the planet. For the last weeks these communities (user groups, hackerspaces, fablabs, schools, and so on) have been proposing their own events for Arduino Day, more than 230 are officialy registered and can be found on  a special map published on the official site of Arduino Day:


Also, Arduino staff organized four official Arduino Day events: Arduino Day Roma, in collaboration with Officine Arduino Torino; Arduino Day Malmö, at Arduino Verkstad; Arduino Day Bangalore, at Officine Arduino India; Arduino Day New York, at the New York University and in the offices of the design consultancy agency IDEO. Starting from today, IDEO is hosting also PopUpMakers, a monthly event started in Milan that catalyzes connections and collaborations in the local Makers' movement.

Arduino Day will be ended by an hangout with Massimo Banzi, Arduino co-founder, from Adafruit offices in New York. More info on, if you want to tell and show the world how you are celebrating Arduino Day, please use the official #arduinoD14 hashtag.
